Global Advocates for Children in Armed Conflicts, Inc. offers a variety of programs and services such as (i) advocacy, (ii) networking, (iii) research and (iv) concrete support approach to undertake initiatives that address the holistic needs of child soldiers, including their reintegration, welfare, advocacy and development needs. In 2019, Global Advocates for Children in Armed Conflicts, Inc. plans to create and support educational/vocational opportunities for children and youth who have been affected by armed conflict, thereby empowering them to choose a life free of war and violence. In addition, our organization focuses on organizing recreational activities and entertainment for children and youths affected by war anywhere and when necessary.
We believe that when youth are allowed to be children once more it allows them to find a positive emotional outlet for the violence and atrocities they witnessed and experienced as child soldiers. The values of the organization are best characterized as defending children’s rights, safety, security, well-being and welfare by pursuing actions that ensure that children are prevented from taking part in armed conflicts and those who have been through armed conflicts helped to be fully reintegrated.
